Weimar becomes European headquarters of Desay SV

The activities of Desay SV in Mainaschaff and Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg in Weimar have been merged into one company: Desay SV Automotive Europe GmbH. The headquarters of the merged company is in Weimar-Legefeld. The company employs almost 110 people.

Foundation stone laid for new development center

Intelligent antenna technology, electronics and software for the car of the future will increasingly come from Weimar-Legefeld. The foundation stone for a new development center was laid there today, Friday, November 13, 2020, by Dr. Michael Weber, Managing Director of Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg GmbH, Andreas Krey, Managing Director of LEG Thüringen, Peter Kleine, Lord Mayor of Weimar, and Petra Seidel, District Mayor of Legefeld and Weimar City Councillor. LEG is building the new center and leasing it long-term to the company, which has been part of the Chinese group Huizhou Desay SV Automotive Co. Ltd. for more than a year. By expanding its R&D activities, Desay is turning the Weimar-Legefeld site into a bridgehead for its expansion in Europe.

Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg with new brand appearance

A lot has changed at Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg in recent years. The company has a new management, has reorganised itself and moved its headquarters from Bad Blankenburg to Weimar. Last year, Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg then became part of Desay SV Automotive, a leading specialist in automotive electronics from China.

Recently, Desay SV Automotive announced the launch of its third generation Intelligent Processing Unit (IPU-03). This re-inforces its commitment to become one of the future leading Level-4 players in the autonomous vehicle domain. With the introduction of the IPU-03, Desay SV Automotive re-affirms and is resolute to achieve this goal in the foreseeable years. Desay SV Contracted with AutoChips to Bolster China’s Automotive Electronics Chip Industry

Recently, Desay SV signed a cooperative agreement with AutoChips Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of NavInfo, for in-depth cooperation in the field of automotive electronics. Under this agreement, the automotive-grade high-performance SoC chipset that was independently designed and recently launched by AutoChips will be applied for a new generation of products of Desay SV, fueling the growth of China’s automotive electronics chip brands.

Desay SV Automotive Successfully Passed ASPICE CL2 Certification

Recently, Desay SV Automotive's software development project has successfully passed ASPICE CL2 certification (Automotive Software Performance Improvement and Capability Determination Containment Level 2), marking its software development capability in the automotive industry being in line with international standards and reaching the international advanced level.

Desay SV Automotive and FAW Group Form a Joint Venture

On December 2, 2019, in Changchun, Desay SV Automotive Co., Ltd. signed an agreement with FAW Equity Investment (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of FAW Group, and Fawer Automotive Parts Co., Ltd., officially declaring the establishment of Fusai Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Joint Venture”). Zhang Ying, Chairman of FAW Equity Investment, Gan Xianguo, General Manager of Fawer Automotive Parts, and Gao Dapeng, CEO of Desay SV, signed the joint venture agreement on behalf of the three parties.
