Volvo Car Visits Desay SV to Present the VQE Award

On March 24, the Supplier Quality Management team of Volvo Car visited Desay SV headquarters and presented the 2025 VQE Award on site. This recognition follows Desay SV’s achievement of the Sustainability Long-Term Partnership Award at 2025 Volvo Car APAC Supply Chain Sustainability Tech Show, further acknowledging Desay SV outstanding performance in product quality and supply chain services.
The VQE Award is the highest quality honor established by Volvo Car for its global suppliers. Introduced in 2011, it is regarded as one of Volvo Car’s most rigorous supplier quality recognitions. Suppliers are required to meet all 9 criteria, covering quality systems, manufacturing capability, and continuous improvement, consistently over a 12-month period. Each year, only a select number of suppliers worldwide receive this distinction. Through consistently reliable product quality and highly responsive service, Desay SV has become a key partner within Volvo Car global supply chain.
During the visit, accompanied by YU Yi, general manager of Desay SV Quality Management Center, the Volvo team toured the Quality Hall and left a message stating, “exceeds customer expectations.” This not only reflects recognition of Desay SV’s quality culture, but also signals higher expectations for future collaboration between the two parties.
Looking ahead, Desay SV will continue to uphold the commitment to quality, refining products through rigorous standards while advancing the sustainability strategy.
