Over the past 40 years, we have made three pivotal strategic choices that shaped Desay SV as we know it today.
First Choice
Build foundations on global standards, forge self-reliant capabilities for long-term development
Founded in 1986 as Car Audio Electronics Co., Ltd., Desay SV started as a joint venture manufacturing car audio systems.
Yet we refused to remain a mere OEM manufacturer.
We quickly absorbed advanced technologies and localized them internally.
In the following decade, successive leadership under German VDO and Siemens instilled German-style "industrial DNA" and advanced management systems into Desay SV.
For these two decades, we grew alongside global industry leaders yet never relied passively on external technologies.
We treated every partnership as a learning opportunity, internalizing all introduced technologies to lay solid groundwork for our second wave of independent development.

Second Choice
From global-to-local to local-to-global
2010 marked a critical turning point in our history.
Desay Group acquired all stakes of Desay SV held by foreign entities, transforming us from a joint venture into a fully independent enterprise.
In the same year, we rolled out our global expansion strategy.
This completely changed our development model,
shifting from global-to-local to local-to-global.
We firmly believe true globalization is not merely exporting products but becoming a local corporate citizen in every market.
Today, we operate 26 global branches, with our new plants in Chengdu and Spain starting mass production.
Our global footprint has evolved from a blueprint into a worldwide reality.

Proactively transform to embrace the intelligent vehicle revolution
In 2019, the intelligent vehicle era arrived.
Instead of staying within our comfort zone, we proactively restructured our organization and shifted our core business from traditional automotive electronics to intelligent cabin, intelligent driving and connected services.
This was a self-reinvention towards the future.
Decades of accumulated R&D capability, manufacturing experience and customer trust were reorganized and redefined to power our future growth.
