Desay SV Charity Assistance—Spreading Warmth and Care
In collaboration with the Huizhou Zhongkai High-Tech Zone Charity Federation, the company recently accepted the home renovation donation initiative and extended their greetings for the 2025 Chinese New Year. Representatives from the Second and Ninth Party Branches at Desay SV actively participated in the seventh return visit to the home renovation initiative aimed at assisting residents in need.

As a Party member representative, I am deeply honored to participate in this charitable event on behalf of the company. Desay SV has consistently prioritized corporate social responsibility by engaging actively in various charitable endeavors. In the home renovation initiative for residents in need, the company offers funding to assist those facing financial difficulties in enhancing their living conditions, ensuring they have a warmer and more comfortable home.

On the day of the event, we visited five families in need within the community, offering them New Year gifts and funds. Additionally, we inspected and accepted the home renovation initiative for residents in need. Upon entering the renovated homes, the refreshing new environment is truly striking. A family member from one of these families said excitedly, "This place had crumbling walls before and wasn't this bright. Now it's all clean and white, and they’ve also connected the electricity and improved the water supply. I really can't thank them enough!" These simple words express profound gratitude.

During the return visit, we observed the significant improvements in the home environments after the renovation, which have greatly enhanced the residents' quality of life. Zhang Xxi, an 83-year-old senior who receives a subsistence allowance, frequently suffers from coughing due to bronchitis and requires a cane to walk. After the renovation, his mud-brick house was upgraded with the installation of handrails and water heaters, rewired electrical systems, and tiled bathrooms, significantly enhancing his living conditions. Deng Xchuan, a 44-year-old individual with a disability who receives a subsistence allowance, is paralyzed in bed due to an electric shock, requiring constant care from his mother. When it rained, his house used to suffer from leaks. However, the renovated traditional tile-roofed house now features a repaired roof, freshly painted exterior walls, and updated electrical wiring. Additionally, the installation of a nursing bed and an anti-bedsore cushion has significantly improved his living and nursing conditions. Lan Xmei, a 42-year-old widow, is raising two sons. Her eldest son has autism and a severe intellectual disability. Renovations to her self-built house included waterproofing and leak repairs for the exterior walls, along with repainting the interior walls of the kitchen and other rooms.

Moreover, we visited another two residents facing financial difficulties. Deng Xrong is a 60-year-old divorced individual without children. He has a second-level visual impairment. He lives in a 40-square-meter bungalow and has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and coronary atherosclerotic heart disease. Every month, he spends approximately RMB 100 purchasing medications after reimbursements. The family's primary sources of income are the monthly subsistence allowance and disability subsidies. The company funded the repair of the leaking resin tiles in his house, which enhanced his living conditions. Deng Xcai suffers from chronic cerebral infarction and requires long-term medication. He lives in a 60-square-meter bungalow with his 74-year-old wife, Yang Xyue, and their son, Deng Xbiao, who has a second-level intellectual disability and suffers from gout. They are facing financial difficulties. The company upgraded his home by installing handrails, an electric water heater, and an exhaust fan and modifying the wiring to enhance safety and comfort.

During our return visit, we were deeply moved. These residents maintain an optimistic spirit despite facing significant hardships. In comparison, our lives are quite happy, and the challenges we face at work and the mundane troubles in life seem trivial. We recognize the significant responsibility we bear, which strengthens our commitment to charitable endeavors.
Statistics show that for three consecutive years, the company has funded approximately RMB 810,000, assisting 33 families in need with home renovations. This initiative not only enhances the living conditions of these families but also spreads warmth and care throughout society. The residents expressed profound gratitude to Desay SV for their assistance. Additionally, Party member representatives delivered festive goods on behalf of the company, bringing joy to the residents during Chinese New Year.
This initiative gives us insight into the struggles faced by these residents in need while also making us more appreciative of our own happy lives. In the future, Desay SV is committed to continuing its charitable efforts, extending warmth and care to more individuals in need. Our Party member representatives will remain actively engaged in the company's charitable initiatives, making a positive contribution to society.
