The funds donated by Desay SV will support No. 6 Primary School's initiatives in reading practices and related activities. To enhance students' reading experiences, the school has created various reading environments, including a reading space station, a reading camp, floating book vessels, and parent-child reading areas. It has also established a reading bank that employs phased reading passbooks to encourage students to develop a reading habit and view reading as a rewarding activity.
In reflecting on the benefits of reading, several students noted that engaging in reading and related activities helps them enrich their extracurricular knowledge. They highlighted that interesting books impart valuable life lessons, and participating in storytelling contests boosts their confidence. Regarding the impact of parent-child reading, interviewed parents shared, "Reading with our children and exchanging insights has not only contributed to our growth but also fostered good reading environments in families and strengthened our family bonds."
To enhance students' reading output, the school has established campus reporter stations and literature clubs where students can submit their writings. It has launched the Seedling Newspaper , participated in the Young Storyteller Competition of Guangdong Province, and encouraged students to creatively reinterpret their reading materials. By incorporating writing, public speaking, painting, and other forms of expression, the school showcases the tangible outcomes of students' reading achievements. As a result of these efforts, the school has received numerous accolades, including municipal and provincial awards for teaching quality and recognition for its exemplary three-wide education program. Its commitment to promoting reading has yielded significant results.
Most students at No. 6 Primary School are children of migrant workers. Desay SV's donations to this school demonstrate a commitment to addressing the public welfare needs of the local community. In line with this, we seek to provide societal benefits and integrate the enhancement of our employees' corporate culture identity and sense of happiness into our corporate objectives.
Desay SV is dedicated to supporting the growth of children and embraces the public welfare philosophy of "teaching how to fish".
