From May 3rd to May 4th Desay SV Automotive participated together with its new wholly-owned subsidiary Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg GmbH (ATBB) at the first Connect EC Exhibition and Conference in Dresden, Germany. The participation at Connect EC was for both companies a big milestone since this was the first common public appearance.

The main topic of the event was the new telecommunication standard 5G related to the key themes mobile communication, smart home and connected mobility. Therefore, well-known automotive OEMs, international telecommunication companies and high-tech companies were represented. Beside new technologies that could be experienced as foldable smartphones, virtual reality adventures and e-mobility vehicles, fascinating speeches about forward-looking trends could be attended.

CL Tan, Chairman of Desay SV Automotive and DR. Weber, CEO of ATBB highlighted in their common keynote speech that the cooperation enhances both companies’ capacities and capabilities to tackle future new projects and create innovative and intelligent products and services to global customers with 5G. Combining the  Desay SV Automotive 3 pillar strategy of smart cabin, smart driving and smart connected services with the smart antenna of ATBB, the way is paved to contribute to the smart and connected future, summarized CL Tan.

The exposition of the products and technologies of Desay SV Automotive and ATBB as well as the speech of CL Tan and Dr. Weber aroused interest of the fair visitors about the companies and the promising cooperation whereby interesting contacts and new business opportunities have been established.
