"My name is Tai Chee Keong and I am Project Manager in Desay SV Singapore office.  I am responsible for managing both Technology and Product Development projects, working closely with internal competencies and external customers.  My main job scopes in this role is to ensure that committed project timings are met and key deliverables are delivered with quality outputs.

I have been with the company for 9 months and has enjoyed working in this new environment so far.  I have been able to apply my previous experiences on project management and new product launch into this new role and on top of this, I have the opportunity to learn new Hybrid PM framework with both traditional and Agile methodologies.  This exposure has helped me to grow on PM role and will definitely benefit me in my aspiration of moving up the ladder in Program Management field.

When I first joined this company, the main hurdle that I was facing was the need to communicate in Chinese with our China colleagues, especially on the technical discussion.  With the help of colleagues and online translation tool, I have been able to cope with this transition period and managed to carry out assigned tasks effectively.  I am hoping to continuously improve my Chinese language and hopefully able to communicate fluently with China colleagues, even for technical discussion.  Another important point is that this company has provided with good work-life balances, where I am able to focus on my job during working hours and spending quality time with my family members in the evening.
