I am Shifana. I work in the Quality Management System department as a Functional Safety Expert. A Functional Safety Expert must ensure that safety is integrated throughout the entire development and operational lifecycle of the vehicles. This includes identifying potential hazards, assessing risks, implementing safety mechanisms to mitigate the risks and conducting thorough analysis, reviews, testing and validation processes.

I have been with Desay for more than 4 years. I am excited to be a part of the autonomous vehicle and appreciate the variety my position brings. No two days are the same and I am always challenged to develop innovative safe solutions for new challenges.

During my spare time, I play table tennis, teach coding and dance to my son. Table tennis and dance keeps me physically active and social while teaching coding allows me to contribute to my son's education and foster his passion for technology.
