With the swift advancement of the intelligent automotive industry, there is an increasing application of components like sensors, displays, and so on, which subsequently complicates the peripheral interfaces. Moreover, there is a significant elevation in the safety benchmarks for hardware architecture and hardware redundancy design.

The Intelligent Driving Domain Controller (IDDC) stands as a computing hub within automotive intelligence, tasked with inputting diverse sensor data. Its algorithmic prowess spans the triad of perception, decision-making, and control, ensuring that resultant data is aptly relayed to the execution apparatus, thereby realizing both the horizontal and longitudinal control of the vehicle. Looking ahead to its widescale deployment, it is imperative that the IDDC is engineered for seamless integration with a variety of vehicular peripherals across different models. This adaptability is crucial for fostering cost efficiency and propelling the sophisticated evolution of automotive intelligence.

Leveraging its extensive expertise in the industry, coupled with profound R&D and mass production experience, Desay SV will take the lead in compiling the "Hardware Interface Requirements and Test Methods for Passenger Vehicle Intelligent Driving Domain Controller", which is applicable to intelligent driving domain controllers for passenger vehicles, and also can be used as a reference for centralized computational controllers, and mainly regulates the design of hardware interfaces and test validation. The content includes three main aspects. First, it covers requirements and test methods for general-purpose power supply voltage and current, anti-reverse connection, control signal line short-circuit, and anti-interference. Second, it addresses requirements and test methods for physical layer consistency and fault tolerance modes of external sensing components such as LIN, CAN, Ethernet, ultrasonic radar, and body communication interfaces. Lastly, it covers requirements and test methods for redundant power supplies and redundant CAN bus interfaces.

According to Gasgoo's statistics, Desay SV leads the third-party intelligent driving domain controller suppliers by supplying over 460,000 units in 2023. Concurrently, the sector for cabin domain controllers is witnessing accelerated market penetration, having achieved an installation base exceeding 600,000 units in 2023, thereby securing the leading market share in Chinese cabin domain controllers. Desay SV, a leading enterprise in the domain controller field, will collaborate with additional industry-related R&D and manufacturing partners to contribute to the research and development of standards. Together, we will promote technological innovation in intelligent driving domain controllers and support high-quality industry development.
