Project Background:

Recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs) have opened up new possibilities across various sectors, including automotive cybersecurity. These cutting-edge technologies are being harnessed to enhance vehicle safety, protect against cyber threats, and improve overall system robustness. By leveraging the power of AI LLMs, automotive manufacturers can detect and respond to security breaches in real-time, ensuring the safety of both vehicle systems and occupants. Additionally, these models are proving instrumental in streamlining operations, automating routine tasks, and enhancing decision-making processes, thereby significantly boosting job efficiency and productivity within the industry. The integration of AI LLMs in automotive cybersecurity and operations not only fortifies security measures but also propels the industry towards greater innovation and efficiency.

Job Scope:

As part of the cybersecurity team, the student will work closely with cybersecurity experts on R&D projects focusing on LLM application for productivity enhancement. The primary objective of this internship is to familiarize the student with LLM concepts and its potential applications. The student will gain practical experience in one or few of the following domains:

• LLM relevant software engineering skills such as deployment and fine-tuning
• AI application in cybersecurity domain.
• Cybersecurity and ethnics of LLM technology

The scope of the internship will typically contain the following tasks:

• Learn about AI and LLM knowledge
• Research on technology innovation using LLM technology
• POC and demo implementation of innovative ideas
• Assist in technical project development tasks
• Assist in testing, result analysis, documentation and reporting

Requirements:

• Students from Computer Science, Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
• The candidate should have a strong interest in AI and especially LLM knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of general AI, LLM, and programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++) is preferred.
• Familiar with LLM hosting and fine-tuning would be advantageous.
