Desay SV’s core business focuses on the efficient integration of the three major areas of smart cabin, smart drive, and smart service. We continue to develop highly integrated leading hardware and software algorithms to provide global customers with safe, comfortable, and efficient mobility solutions and services.
Project Background:
Wireless sensing is a technology that utilizes wireless signals (such as Wi-Fi, mmWave, radar, UWB, Bluetooth, etc.) to perceive environmental and object characteristics. wireless sensing relies on the propagation, reflection, and scattering of radio waves to extract information such as movement, shape, material properties, and even physiological signals like breathing and heart rate. UWB is one of major technologies we are focusing on for this project.
Scope:
As part of the wireless sensing algorithm team, the student will work closely with experts on automotive wireless sensing R&D projects. The primary objective of this internship is to familiarize the student with fundamental radar signal processing algorithms. The student will gain practical experience in one or few of the following domains:
- target detection
- target tracking
The scope of the internship will typically contain the following tasks:
- pick up signal processing techniques used in target detection and tracking
- apply these techniques to real IR-UWB data
- perform detection and tracking analysis and evaluate performance
- Assist in testing, analysis, documentation and reporting
- Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Students from Computer Science, Electronics and Electrical Engineeriing.
- Students should have a strong interest in signal processing algorithm development with a focus on automotive applications.
- Basic knowledge of radar principle, signal processing and tracking theory.
- Programming language: matlab, python, C/C++
