Xiaopeng Motors and Desay SV signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Guangzhou on June 23rd. Desay SV will support Xiaopeng Motors to develop Level 3 autonomous driving system for its new car model, to be launched in 2020.

The co-developed system adopts a globally cutting-edge AI super-computing chip, which is regarded as the super brain of high level autonomous driving system. The system integrates and proceeds perception data from radars, cameras, LiDAR, and ultrasonic sensors， while strictly conforms to the international standard of ISO26262 regarding functional safety for automotive industry.  Aiming at solving the main driving-related problems in China, the system, based on various user scenarios, provides L3 features like low-speed valet parking, middle-speed Traffic Jam Pilot (TJP) and highway pilot.
