Desay SV Management Team Led by Desay Corporation President Mr. Jiang Jie, on working visit to Singapore
On August 7, Desay Corporation President Mr. Jiang Jie led the Desay SV management team including Chairman TAN Choon Lim, CEO GAO Dapeng, SVPs DUAN Yongzheng and Azmoon AHMAD, visited the Economic Development Board (EDB) and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU) for the purpose of further strengthening cooperation.

In the morning of August 7, the Desay team met the EDB delegates led by Mr. KOH Jin Hoe, Asia-pacific Regional President. EDB is a statutory board of the Singapore government which plans and executes strategies to sustain Singapore as a leading global business hub. The aim of the visit is to understand the business strategy of Singapore and the assistance it could provide. During the meeting, Mr. KOH Jin Hoe introduced government’s efforts in enhancing the cyber security, and shared the 11 critical sectors identified by Singapore government, including aviation, healthcare and land transport, etc., and automotive sector will be considered in next phase. Besides cyber security and autonomous driving technology, EDB also encouraged other advanced development activities like Internet of vehicles (IOV) and wireless multimedia communication.
On March 27, 2018, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between Desay SV and NTU marked the beginning of bilateral technological cooperation on automotive cyber security.
High-level meeting between NTU & Desay SV Management
During the high-level meeting (August 7), NTU President Prof. Subra Suresh, vice president Prof. Lam Khin Yong, Associate Vice President (Strategy and Partnerships) Prof. Subodh Mhaisalkar, Executive Director, Cyber Security Research Centre (CYSREN) Prof. Thambipillai Srikanthan and other professors extended a cordial welcome to the Desay delegates. NTU and Desay SV reviewed and reaffirmed the shared objectives of the cooperation in joint development of cyber security capabilities for the automotive electronics including methods for secure processing/communication, vulnerability analysis for cyber hardening, security testing for autonomous vehicles, together with the industry experts from Desay to realize commercially viable IPs and innovative solutions.
Later that day, the Desay delegates toured NTU CYSREN and CETRAN (Centre of Excellent for Testing & Research of AVs) test facilities. Mr. Jiang spoke highly of NTU’s reputation and capability in the field of scientific research as a world-class university. This visit strengthens the mutual understanding and thrust the comprehensive collaborations in cyber security and autonomous driving technologies.
